Everything was very comfortable, including attentive staff and beautiful location reliant on Tuk tuk or taxi to get around. Thoroughly enjoyed the way our suite with a private or shared bathroom was. Location: the hotel was next to the night bazaar, the river and the main tourist attractions, and major sightseeing. There was a garden restaurant nearby. The service was absolutely great.

Location of the hotel is perfect. Very close to all the major sights: Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, National Museum, all within walking distance. Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. Staff is very friendly. They got us tickets for a evening of Muay Thai and were very helpfull with others questions and helped us getting a taxi and tuktuk. Nice cafe, with good coffee. Restaurant with good food.

This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the old quarter, making it easy to explore the main tourist attractions on foot. The Thai-style furniture in the rooms adds a charming touch, and the view over the rooftops is a nice bonus. The breakfast, with its DIY mini pancakes, offers something for everyone's taste.
No negatives, everything was ok.

staff was always helpful and service felt more personal as compared to other hotels. even the night guard was extrememly helpful in getting tuktuk or cab rides from outside the hotel going to our destination. quiet accommodation which provided some sort of calmness amidst bangkok's busyness.
no elevators as it was an old school building renovated as a hotel. it was a bit difficult having to carry our luggage up and down the stairs. but this was compensated with the readiness of the staff's assistance

The staff was very welcoming, told us about all the surrounding attractions, the best ways to get there, where to eat. They were so accommodating to all of our needs, by far the most outstanding service we received in our 3 weeks in Thailand!!. We couldn't have asked for better service or a nicer hotel. The setting was beautiful, an old converted school house with a garden. Quiet. They have a buffet breakfast and a bar. Hot water, nice bathroom. Free WIFI. Safety boxes in the room are easy to use. They can call a metered cab for you (the cheapest way to get around bangkok) to be picked up in front of the hotel to go anywhere. We went from this hotel to the airport for 250baht, From this place to the Lumpani Boxing Stadium for 75baht.
There weren't a lot of places to eat real close. KhoaSan Rd is about 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile walk with no turns, there are plenty of restaurants there.
